Our analysis of transparency guidelines revealed that many of these organizations consider customers and users to be primary beneficiaries in needing AI explainability; others (O1, O4) also mention partners and stakeholders.

Companies must ensure the transparency and traceability of AI software, documenting how decisions are made by it as well as its uses of data sources and potential risks; also communicating clearly with users and stakeholders so they build trust in it.

So businesses have adopted comprehensive AI transparency practices, including clear communications with consumers, strong security protocols, and opportunities for user feedback. By taking these steps, organizations can better address potential ethical concerns while also avoiding regulatory fines; ultimately ensuring the future of AI serves humanity rather than harms it.
